STATEWIDE POETRY CONTEST

and short reading of winning poetry at the Festival on Saturday, April 7th alongside Statewide Contest Judge.
Entry fee: $15. Postmark entries by February 15th, 2012. . .now extended to February 22nd, 2012!
1. Open to all Arizona poets who have not previously published a full-length collection of more then 30 pages of poetry through the internet or any recognized print press. No previously published poems are acceptable. Poems that appear on an individual poet’s website are not considered “published.” Only one manuscript entry per poet will be accepted.
2. Entrant must submit two (2) identical sets of up to six (6) pages of recent work. Only one poem may appear on a single page; poems of more than one page in length are acceptable. NAMES MUST NOT appear on manuscript pages. Please staple the individual sets of six pages together.
3. Poem entries MUST be mailed unfolded in a 9 x 12″ envelope. Enclose a title page including: name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, and titles or first 2 lines of the poems submitted. Your check for $15, payable to Tucson Poetry Festival, must also be enclosed. Entries containing incomplete or false information will forfeit the entrant’s eligibility for the contest. No manuscripts will be returned.
