Tucson Poetry Festival


Tucson Poetry Festival celebrates its 25th Anniversary by exploring poetry’s connection to home and looks to the future by reconnecting with its past. Our Silver Anniversary is the perfect time to honor our roots, showcase poets with meaningful connections to the Tucson community, and express our gratitude to other artists, patrons of the arts, arts organizations, and venues who have made memorable contributions to past Tucson Poetry Festivals. With the assistance of this year’s guest poets, we will examine the complex and multi-faceted meaning of the word home from varied cultural backgrounds, historic perspectives and artistic issues. This year’s guest poets have either current or past ties to the festival and the Tucson poetry community, and it is especially fitting that they should lead this reunion. With you by our side, we can look forward to another 25 years of making and celebrating poetry in this our home. Please join us.
